Pop-Up Type Museum

Pop-Up Type Museum

Pop-Up Type Museum is an annual exhibition put on by the Advanced Typography class at Emily Carr University of Art + Design, in collaboration with Type Brigade Vancouver. The exhibition allows individual exhibitors to showcase different aspects of typography through their visual and written typographic research.

The branding project began with the intention of bringing together and showcasing our exhibitors, emphasizing the diversity of our classmates, leading us to work with the theme of “Controlled Chaos”. The main theme moving forward with our exhibitions visual identity was to be loud and crowded, while also “hiding” and “revealing” information. With this idea of unveiling typographic knowledge in a fun, mysterious and intriguing way is what lead us to the title of this year’s exhibit; Type…Revealed.

I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Megan Chen and Triet Pham on this project.
